Environmental Simulation

In order to guarantee the TXV performance well in the actual A/C loop, we need to evaluate the external influence on it. So we set up the H/L Temp. Testing Chamber for witnessing the variation or deviation of performance.

Temperature: -70°C up to +250°C.
Humidity: 10% up to 98% of actual humidity.

Detect for micro-leakage

100% detection on leakage to ensure the No-Leakage supply.

Helium Leak Detect:
Check the micro-leakage of the complete valve by helium detector. —After assembling the power element onto the valve body and before set value on valve.

Multi-gas Leak Detect:

Check the micro-leakage of power element by fluorine detector.—After assembling the complete power and before assembling power element to the valve body.

Corrosion Test

Ningbo Songying TXV is no problem for resistance of the corrosion and we are able to do the internal corrosion and external corrosion on products. The corrosion resistance test will be in complication with the customers’ verification. Make sure the components and metallic materials safely and longer life to use in the A/C loop.

Vibration Test

Complying with JIS D 1601, the complete assembled TXV will be installed onto the testing table for vibration testing. With passengers need more comfortable controlled climate and lower noise, we’ll continuously make the component in the smooth way to operate. Our devotion will help our A/C system customers to enhance the comfort level just like snuggery home. This testing bench can find the possibility of vibration and avoid the potential noise problem.
•Vibration frequency: 33Hz
•Vibration accelerating speed: 4.5G
•Vibration direction and duration:
•Vertical direction: 4 hours.
•Back and forth: 2 hours.Both sides: 2 hours.

Performance Test

We need to know the real performance for a TXV and then we can make the optimal actions to improve the TXV. The performance is the core use for a TXV and will decide the TXV is good quality or bad one. The series of testing will be carried out to collect the data and draw the corresponding curves for analysis.
Core performance testings:
•Air-tightness performance
•Pressure resistance performance
•Destructive pressure performance
•Air-tightness performance under low temperature
•Air-operation characteristics
•Rating capacity
•Time constant
•Opening degree and hysteresis
•Flow volume test

Cycle Life

This testing creates the precise data how many times Ningbo Songying TXV work well. Longer cycle life tells us the durability of TXV is excellent. It’ll save the cost to replace the new one in your actual use of A/C.

Our recorded maximum cycle life data is 375,000 times till the TXV failed to work. Basically, 100,000 times is the must according to the standard.

Noise Bench

Noise is the one of biggest problems that TXV happens in A/C loops and there is one universal way to solve it finally. When the noise problems create, firstly we need to find the root cause and then combine the knowledge and cost to make the best choice to modify something in A/C system. Related to TXV, we need to know where and how the noise can make and then build up our technical data for monitoring the noise. The noise testing need the manufacturers and customers to be finished together.
The TXV must not generate any noise, when the cooling circuit is working or when it is not working.
Our new complete Noise Testing Bench is under construction and at present, our noise testing is appointed by the third party or our customer’s NRH.
For each noise problem, the root cause is different, so the solution is different. As for TXV role of noise solution in A/C loop, we made the below modifications of TXV to reduce or avoid the noise.
•Reducing the TXV capacity.
•Changing TXV lift characteristics, orifice inside diameter, ball diameter.
•Changing TXV seat profile.
•Changing pin diameter.
•Add some parts like friction clip or plastic slip cover.
